The Retainer enemy is in Kefka's Tower. Gau then learns by leaping on the Veldt. Gogo can also use Shock ability through Mime or Rage.

I didn't know Vigor affected Shock. Good stuff Makuru...it works off the same lovely stat as SwordTech (I think).

Retainer's one of my favorite Rages but too bad not many people know how to get Shock to its best power. It, Tyranosaur, Stray Cat, and Mover are my favorite lategame Rages.

Raiden gives +2 Vigor at Level Up. Just do that until level 70+ and you'll be set with 9999 hits all around. Odin +1 Speed is also great for Gau.

The skill is based on your vigor tho, you should raise it. I always max my Gau's vigor as he's my main character. :)

great comment. I always equip a Hero Ring, Hyper Wrist, Earrings or Marvel Shoes on him.

Enemies weak to instant death in the colloseum are easy with Setzer + doom darts + genji glove + offering. Usually takes them out in one turn.

@fchang69 replying to this old comment, i apologize.

But Setzer does have a unique use. Setzer does not use his "Slots" command when in the arena, so as long as you don't teach him any magic and equip him properly, hes useful for that. Outside the arena, he's as useless as an umbrella as a parachute lol.

Your name and comment combined together are the worst FF3 joke I've ever heard; if you would even have thought about doing a low lv game, you'd know Gau is the strongest in the game while Setzer... well... it's just that Gau has rages casting all powerfull spells for 0mp cost... of course if I wouldn't have stumbled on this info on gamefaqs, I don't think I would have bothered trying each and every rage to find it out... but still... what does Setzer do except being cool?

This is what always happens to me. When i leap with Gau, then i always get in to fights with major enemies like dragons and alike that i want to leap and when i fight with gau i never fight them, wtf.
