Ok, for those who are confused. This takes place in the time jump between the end of the series, and the beginning of the movie. This explains why Ruri's commanding her own ship, what was believed to happen to Akito and Yurika, and all those nasty loose ends at the beginning of Prince of Darkness that made most American fans go 'WTF is going on here!?!?!'

@KeeveSuikoden2Hero the white-haired (i thought it was silver) girl is called Hoshino Ruri. She's the operator of the battleship Nadesico. The long blue-haired lady is called Mitsumaru Yurika; she's the captain of Nadesico and also the love interest of Akito

I`ve never seen the anime b4 but I`ve played the Another Century`s Episode a.k.a A.C.E game on the PS2 n Nadesico`s anime is in there...,but all I want to know is could anyone please tell me who`s the main character of the anime...?....I already know 1 of the pilot`s name n that is Akito...,the ones I don`t know are the white-haired-girl in the opening...n the long-blue-hair-girl the one who`s with Akito in the picture also from the opening.....so could anyone please help me out.....

ok im a little younger than most. i started watching this when i was like 9. i only had volumes 1-13 and the movie prince of darkness. i was younger then so i didnt understand it but im older so i get it... sort of. is there something in between?
