Hidden beneath the low, broad silhouette of a racing car lies highly complex chassis suspension technology. It's this that makes it possible at all to keep the tires on the ground under extreme race conditions. This 3D graphics explain how the engineers set up the right suspension. The aim: stability, ground contact and permanent control Getting the chassis suspension right can make the difference between victory and defeat. • THE CAUSE OF LOW GRIP ROAD CARS are THE WIDER REAR TRACK THAN FRONT TRACK CHASSIS MODEL.

REAR TRACK = REAR TREAD = REAR OVERHANGING

FRONT TRACK = FRONT TREAD = FRONT OVERHANGING
