Cameras are also guns? Really? Yes, they are evolving into the same machine. CNN and all cable news networks continually (re)massacre all of us: the victims, the families, the students, the campus, the community, the city...all of us. Each time, they lick their lips and shoot us again with their cameras and sell it back to us. Why do we watch? Why do we EVER speak to the media? Why do we allow them to torture us with their manipulative content? Why do Universities allow TV networks on campus to interview students in shock? Guns are cameras and cameras are guns. And make no mistake, we ALL seem to love watching our own murder movie -- on TV. What is happening?

The audio was cut during the breaking news. The video was constructed during the evening's blood feasting. Look at all these other YouTube videos and ask yourself... What is happening here? Put your guns away. Put your cameras away. Go for a walk. Love each other.

I have to say that even with corrupt media, I still think it is a wonderful tool to get at a little more truth than what we would get from hear say. I think it is far more superior than say the internet. With the internet everything can be altered or changed to fit other group agendas, it can also happen with the media,but at least you can easily question what your being told. Does the media go to far at times? Yes!

Despite the mass media making mourners relive their pain,their doing it so those not affected by these shootings will mourn as well.Can we really blame them for that?A year after VT,nobody would ever admit it,but those of us not directly involved had mainly lost interest in it until it happened again!You shouldn't blame the media for giving us the action we ask for,or videogames for the same,or even those who bully others into shooting them,but agree this isn't a solution to any problem.
