  • I like this one. But umm yeah. If your going Navy don't enlist. Become an officer.

  • That's actually a really cool commercial. Kudos. Plus the LT is pretty cute. :P

    yeah, and the 10 hours off watch, weren't really off-work; just off watch. Still had drills, maintenance and whatever other got tossed at you. I think my shortest week in home port was around 72 hours, and at sea, I'm not sure. It wasn't uncommon to be up for 30-50 hours routinely.

  • pileswool is pretty ridiculous and must not be in the service or even thinking about going... I'm Enlisting... I know What Navy entails which is Lots of Labor with out the 'Soldier' stereotype... Its My Only choice... I wish i could just go in as an officer but its not THAT simple I need four years of college to b what i want... also I heard a soldier in the army say... you not too respected if you just come in as an officer with no previous experience and an air force guy say it

  • WHERE IS THE NOFORN STAMPED ON THAT BLACKBOARD?!?!?!

  • @CraftLulz

    Yes they are. I left along with many other nukes because it's the worst job in the Navy. When everyone else is going home, we stay to do stupid bullshit. When I worked in the shipyard, I averaged 80 hours a week because of 4 section duty. When I was underway, I had 5 and 10's. This means I stood watch for 5 hours and had ten hours off, and then got back on 5 hours, 10 off, and repeated this the entire time we were out to sea, even on sundays. You will do the most work with no respect

  • @goul1987 i was a nuke mechanic and i agree, the closest i came to using that math in the fleet was in engineering dept continued training exams

  • good commercial

  • Okay this is complete bullshit. I was a nuclear electrician in the Navy and the only time we used that math was in nuclear power school. The job itself out in the fleet NEVER required us to use that math (enlisted AND officers both), so nice job being completely fucking wrong bitch.

  • @keduardop is correct , a Navy LT is the same as an Army or Air Force Captain. Navy goes:

    Ensign = 2nd LT

    LTJG = 1st LT

    LT = Captain

  • @keduardop she an LT

  • @saxquiz is a Captain not a LT
