This very bad information. Do NOT base your health on these myths. Fruits and vegetables do NOT contain B12. B12 can only be produced by micro-organisms, found in the soil and in the intestines of animals. Most B12 is stored in the liver. It is also present in natural source water (in the wild). Most animals get it from eating shit.
By the way, it's called cobalamin, NOT cyanocobalamin! Cyanocobalamin is B12 mixed with cyanide, as you can read in the name. Cyanide is an extremely toxic chemical.
Hydroxy-cobalimin and Methyl-cobalimin are the useable b-12's, Cyano-cobalimin is useable but the body has to convert it. There are many other b-12 analogues that are not useable at all. Many foods have b-12 in these forms and they can actually lower b-12 status because they compete with useable sources, these include spirulina, cooked nori (Raw nori doesn't seem to have a negative effect on b-12 status)
also, there are other forms of b12 that are much more usable to the body, methylcobalamin is a very good one. cyanocobalamin is just the cheapest and most common, and is not useable my most people, thats why when you take that form it comes out in your urine as bright yellow. it cant be absorbed. that's what i have read anyway. dont know for sure.
