Three of my uncles were in this war. Two of them were part of a assault team. one of them was a sniper the thing. Is they were and still are very good people but they had some problems after it but we have some kind of problems

The Soviets won a war of attrition against the germans The germans could not replace there losses lossing the experianced 6th army case hitler was to stupid to see that withdrawl was the only option was a severe blow
@Pellicius American tankers never encountered t-55 in vietnam there were only two times the nva armor attacked american combat forces one at the special forces camp outside kea san were no us armor was and army tankers had one fight with m-48 vs pt-76 an amphibious tank that the american destroyed. the south veitnamesse fought the t-34 and t-55 in 72 with m-48s and gave better than they got after 73 treaty the us quit suplying the south viets that was due to congress cutting off funds
@sass225 Yes, but the M48 Pattons had thought times dealing with the T-54/55 even the Chaffee had hard times with the T-34/85 USA lost many tanks when facing T-54/55 in Vietnam but most of the time they just bombed the T-54/55 with airplanes
@SMGJohn there were shermans in use during Korea the m-48 patton tanks were used in veitnam m-24 chaffees were also given to the french to use in indo china 6 of them were used at dein bein phoo
