They Didn't trade him.. Thomas asked to be released because the manager sat him because his average was below .100

he wasent traded god

Just to clarify, Thomas wasn't traded, he was released. The Jays are 12-6 in May so far, and we don't need a DH batting only .220 average. He hasn't even hit a homer since he left the Jays, and he's known for that.

Because they don't want to be on the hook for his contract for next season. Its really pretty simple.

You rarely see a star (not supposed, stop fooling your disillusioned self) player traded so early. That's what I mean, they should have given him more time. I'm not fanatical. I don't like they way he was treated. And he argues balls and strikes? Oooh what a bad man! No other player in history has ever done that! They should throw him in jail! So what is the Jays record since Thomas left? What was it before Thomas left? Spit it out since you say you know everything.
Thomas is the most selfish and insensitive player in all of sports. The moment he faces any type of adversity he endlessly wines and and complains. He could careless if his team loses or wins every game as long as he is hitting he is content. Thomas is an indecent person. The BlueJays had to trade him because they knew his character, they knew if they benched him that he would destroy and tear down their locker room. He is rude, indifferent, selfish and destructive.

Thomas was the most prolific hitter of the 1990's, as well as the greatest hitter in the 100+ year history of the White Sox franchise. He accomplished all of this during the tainted era of doping, & he managed to do so without ever resorting to the use of steroids.
No one ever accused Ty Cobb of being a good clubhouse presence or a "nice guy" in general, but a player's personality doesn't diminish what he accomplished in the game and what he did for the franchise (and the town) he played for.

I was at this game, took a road trip just to see the Big Hurt's return. The ball dropped in my friends hand sitting directly to my right, dropped is the key word. I was like a dear in headlights...I could believe it came right at us. I got an awesome picture of the swing though. Then just a few minutes later we saw a huge, nasty cat fight at the nacho stand. What a game!

Don't forget the walk-off bunt to win it in extra innings, or the "squirrel chase." Two things you don't see very often! Great game.

Years ago, Harold Baines got the same sort of reaction when he returned to Chicago the first time after being traded to the Rangers (by the way, Baines also homered in his first at-bat). Several years later, Robin Ventura got a big homecoming welcome after being traded. Chicago White Sox fans do not boo the ex-players we loved. FT worked hard for us for 15 years and was a part of our first world championship in almost 9 decades. We all look forward to his next stop: Cooperstown :)
