im trying to find a good example of pansori for my gr12 music class. can anyone tell me what this story is about so that i can explain it to my class? i would really appreciate it!!!

@eifjvn Actually traditional Korean music does not follow a meter at all. It is only with contemporary arrangements of traditional music that it has been given meter. It was the place of percussionist (like this example of Pansori) to provide cues for rhythmic changes. (Sorry to get particular!) You are true in that there are infinite examples of major differences in the folk/traditional music of Japan, Korea, or "China" (always gotta remember that China didn't exist back then, kingdoms yes)

@AmbersParadise Be careful with that one! I did a Master's musicology research project about that similarity... got blasted from both sides for suggesting the connection! (It totally is though!)

The fact that you think basic knowledge about topic of this video is a "korean history/fact lesson" says more about your ignorance than anything else. Stick to your videogames and Japanese videos.
