Me using my FTIR multitouch screen. This is our 'smoke' demo app. See more at http://www.whitenoiseaudio.com/blog/

The lag is due to CPU overload - the smoke app is rather cpu intensive. Also, false detections seen in this video have mostly been cleaned up due to a better IR filter.

  • Oh wow, dude, I remember seeing this years ago! It's interesting that you and the guy behind NodeBeat both have a background in early DIY multitouch displays.

  • I hope that noise (not the music in the background but the humming sound) I hear is not coming from the touch screen just because it is turned on.
