  • One for the future, that Bruma. Looking forward to seeing what he can do.

  • Our best Chelsea will come when these young players meet the actual experienced ones in a mixed team. More chances for youngsters, please, Carlo!

  • @JssChrist you are right on the money

  • hehe its always nice when you become a buying club. Its nice to know too that there is plenty of british talent coming through though were still a fair way behind some of our european cousins .. italy for instance have the most amazing youth structure they rarely send players out elsewere, like with arsenal who train a ton of frenchman (naturally) which is fine for the french team and for arsenal but not so good for our domestic hopes.

  • we know all about bringing through the talent at southampton.

one of our first year scholars made his debut against huddersfield last week just 8 weeks older than theo when he debuted for us.

unfortunately for us, the majority of our talent recently has been sold on. surman, best, mcgoldrick, cranie, walcott, bale to name but a few.

we managed to keep a couple and now we're a buying club so its all good! :)

  • @racewalkingrules Its nice to see our youth system working finally, we've only produced in the last 20 years 4 or 5 players that have been good enough to remain in the premier (john terry being the obvious) most of them have swanned off elsewere, still all the top talent is coming through tottenham, liverpool and west ham's youth system. The main thing is they are mainly british and that can only be a good thing for the england team of the future.

  • you have a lot of good players coming through your academy, only its obviously really hard to produce the kind of quality needed for your side...never heard of jack cork?? he's one of yours on loan at burnley and he's absolute class! we had him at the beginning of last season and he was awesome.

  • thx

  • @zebromofo...no, just no

Finally some potential starts through the youth system

  • Not bad for a Center Half eh?
