I agree, green eggs and ham shows how people have become xenophobic and how we do not like to interact with people or objects that we find are unusual, where they are in fact fine, and they simply look different. haha.

Let me guess, you're culturally ignorant, right? It has everything to do w/ Jesse Jackson's speaking approach and style. This was 1 of the most inspired skits on SNL history. It's like listening to Jesse do a campaign speech with his pulpit style. Having grown up watching him on TV news in Chicagoland since the late 60s, I caught the connection right away, as did most who will never forget this most memorable SNL moment.
