The Kawanji Aboriginal dance group from Cairns, Far North Queensland, Australia, performs at the Laura Dance and Cultural Festival in 2001. The first dance is a creation spirit dance, how the spirits came up from the earth and created the world; the second is Injida Baigun Mosquito, followed by Mayiwumba honey bee dance; then Mudugular, which is play dance-kangaroo, emu, old man; the next one is Gadeachma, and the last one is Gurring, a welcoming and farewell song.
