Played for "Sessions at West 54th," a PBS series hosted by David Byrne (of Talking Heads). "Birds," "Ghost," and "Taste" were broadcast January 9, 1999 on the program, in addition to interviews with the band about fan taping and the Halloween musical costumes. #Acoustic. *Played (acoustic) while tapes were being changed; was not taped. **Quasi-encore: Phish had finished their written setlist (though skipping "The Moma Dance," which was on the list given to the cameramen) and had some time left ("Ghost" was only 10 minutes long). After a flood of audience requests (including many for Byrne to sit in), Trey said, "Okay, let's just play Taste," at Page's suggestion.

Treyolajams, wanted to play some of that new BriaEno /story of the ghost spaced out in ambience. Fishman is cool. I would love to timewarp back to 98 and 99 and 00- fall 99 was dope spring 98 every summer show. Trey wouldnt agree with the 00 part (he said after big cypress they reached their pinnacle and didnt have it) but i thought they were on point

this has got to be one of the best live sets as far as how the sound is mixed. trey isnt out front way too much like normal, and mike and page are perfectly heard
