MOTHER3 - Black Beanling and Multiple Level-ups

Whoo, Mother 3!
Anyway. I've already beaten the game, despite my inability to read much Japanese.

Video breakdown:
Showing off all the character levels before the fight; everyone is at or around level 20 or 21.

After the fight (hurray combos!), everyone managed to amass enough EXP to jump to levels 27 and 28.

I then went down to the Hot Spring to heal, and proceeded to learn 7 PSI/PK techniques altogether (about 4 for Kumatora and 3 for Lucas).

Sorry about the random running around, it seems that you have to be moving in order to trigger the "fever" that causes Lucas and Kumatora to learn new techniques (and you have to be moving with the "fever" to make it break).

This is right after getting Duster back from Club Titiboo.

How long do you train them? I mean, up to what level do you usually bring them up to before moving on?

The part where you tried to break the fever reminded me of Teleport β in Earthbound.

I'll keep these guys in mind for my second playthrough.

Wow lol I just killed my first one.

Lucas and Boney lvls 14/13 I think.

I had two Sprinting Bombs and gave one to Lucas and the other to Boney.

I snuck behind the Black Beanling and used them right away. Then I just spam attacked and killed it. Got to lv 25 instantly :)

i remember when i found a green beanling in chapter 1, i was kind of freaked out for some reason XD
