  • We heard that too. Apparently whole cars of coal were left down there...they just back filled it and it flooded.

  • there was alot of mining equipment left in the mine but its probably all rusted away now

  • I grew up in Carmichaels, on Schroyer's Lane. Spent many a day with my dog on Trumpka's farm, where several mine openings were located- great vid, thanks

  • Cool video..... I lived in Stringtown when I was a kid. I believed their was a mine behind my house in the woods.
