  • What the difference between the KM and KD?

  • I apologize, but I do not know the difference. Maybe check out google search.

  • my friend has a bike just like this, any idea of how much it would be worth or how well they run? and where could i get other info on it?

  • Jeff

Im not sure how much they are worth because there are so few around. Ive seen them pop up on Craigslist occassionaly. Try doing a google search for more info on the bike. This particular one runs well, has only 900 miles on it. Fun little bike for sure.

  • I have one of these bikes and there great runners and cruisers and quick 2 for a guy that ways 195lbs. These things will run forever if you maintain them and keep them cared for love it sounds great.

  • @jeffgobens ours runs great, but it needs a throttle cable. runs great, and if you could get it like new, probably worth at least 3,000. more if you could get all original parts.

  • I had one of these growing up. awesome little bike and it took all the abuse i could throw at it. was my first motorcycle. top speed 50mph.

  • I had a 77 KD 100 M. Very similar to this little bike. It ran really great and it would pull away from the YZ 80's of the day....I miss that bike.

  • That is a cool bike

    I am restoring a 1971 kawasaki G3 100

Check it out on utube at

    Happy trails

  • I have a 1979 KD100M i just bought for my nephew exact same without lights...great shape...lookin at carb parts ..expensive.....carb over flows steady gonna try and clean it more time..nice bikes

  • The km was street legal with lights and speedo, the kd was dirt only, it had no lights just number plates. Both were identical motors and frames. The kd was faster cause it was lighter being "stripped down".
