This is "Bart," a captive-born Egyptian fruit bat that lives at the Organization for Bat Conservation's Bat Zone at Cranbrook Institute of Science in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The video was shot in slow motion to highlight the amazing beauty of the only flying mammal. Egyptian fruit bats live in the Middle East and most of Africa, have a two-foot wingspan, and feed on fruit. They are one of the only mega (large) bats that live in caves and use clicks to find their way at night. For more information: www.batconservation.org.
