Can everyone stop being so stupid?!
Its the SIMS 2!
So what if he's making a re-take, its a urban legend, so basically 'Carved' copied the urban legend, so get over it.
On the subject, this is great, can't wait to watch it, the legend is great!

Even if this is not so good, he wasn't copying anyone. I hate ignorant people, why won't they study up on things before they comment on shit!?
I love the urban legend of the slit mouthed woman.

@radioaircrape Thanks for the comment. I don't really understand the criticisms that I copied anything either. Obviously I didn't create the character, but neither did the person who directed the film 'Carved'. It's just a famous Japanese urban legend and this is my own version of it.

unless your name is Kouji Shiraishi you didn't make this up. kouji directed it.

Kouji Shiraishi made a film which is based on a very popular Japanese urban legend. Just because he made a film about it doesn't mean the legend belongs or was even created by him, and just because I made a film about it doesn't mean I copied him. I've never even seen his version of the tale, I just made my own.

Even the title is identical. Your nont fooling anyone.

I hope you're joking. I know the urban legend had been made into a movie before, but why does that mean I can't make my own version? It's nothing new for filmmakers to give their own spin on urban legends. Look at the legend of the killer phoning from inside the house, that's been used countless times (Black Christmas, When a Strangers Calls... etc).

I'm not trying to copy anyone else's work, as I've already stated, I've not seen 'Carved', but I do not see any problem in adapting a popular urban legend into my own story.
