The dog was in a crate that was obviously very securely strapped to the top of the car. Romney even had a windshield, so that the dog didn't get too much air hitting him directly. Any dog would love to ride up there. I know mine would. I don't know what the big deal is. I think someone should market crates that attach to the luggage rack. Brilliant idea! Dogs die in closed cars every single day because idiots leave their dog INside the car without the AC running. Which is better?

this guy has no regard for animal life, i let the thing with the dog go but during the 2nd debate he said something about "who cares if some birds died"--the oil spill that killed endangered birds..This is the type of person who will go to war and not care about human life..
