Hey skinny, I would like to see a series of vids on building a knife{preferably the one you are building for me}from start to finish. Watching you grind that is getin me antsy!!!

The convex grind looks great! I've done many of them by hand! My personal preference however this video reminds me I need to do my Becker bk2 full height convex now :)

@bindlestitch1 sometimes the leather overheats and smells burnt.. but it keeps working ;) Good luck on that BushBlade comp on BF.. looks like fun.

Good video.. I do it pretty much the same way, except I actually attach some 1/8" thick leather to my platen so that I get a smoother bump free grind when I'm rocking the bevel on. Nice knives :)



That is a very even curvature to get on a platen, nice job.

Thanks, man. It's a grizzly grinder, you can check out their website for more info. I think I paid $350.00 new for it about five or six years ago. Good starter grinder.
