See students in action talking like pirates, singing shanties, learning how to tie essential knots every pirate needs to know, as well as building cannons in order to sink a treacherous rival's ship! Interdisciplinary planning and fun is a big part of ORRJHS, and Talk Like A Pirate Day gave us a chance as a team to teach our curriculum in a framework that was fun, ridiculous, and got students excited about being in school.
