A song by american stoner rock band Monster Magnet. The song was released on the album Superjudge in 1993. Song is best known for being a part of soundtrack for the game Road Rash (3DO) which was awarded as the best "soundtrack of the year" in 1994.

These guys are like Soundgardens east coast counterpart, been paying their dues forever and got little recognition for the effort, I used to play road rash on a Sega and remember this song well, I thought Space Lord was the 1st song of theirs I ever heard, but this was my favorite song on that game. Way ahead of their time for sure, they recorded "Tractor" around the same time as this. Dave, bring your ass back to Cali sometime soon!

brilliant. i disagree, they shouldnt be more popular, alot of bands that are popular are manufactured and made shit as soon as they are massive. green day is a modern example. 'american idiot' was the last song i listened to of theirs, i still listen to dookie and nimrod albums though as they are amazing

One of my favs from Superjudge. Black Balloon has special meaning for me cause I lost someone I love to heroin. What a waste of a beautiful person. Love this group, and yes they should be more popular.
