I'm really surprised by all the "good driving" comments. I think your steering input needs to slow down significantly, and a 1:31 lap time would agree with that since your car is well capable of breaking into the 20s. Also, an S2000 should not be shuffle steering, even at turn 2 at SOW. You should consider doing a track school with NASA or BMWCCA, they will smooth you out a lot and in the end will make you a much faster driver.

I love the S2000. It has a great LSD.

finally! a video of an AP1 on SOW! nice!
-
haha! Which group where you in? I think I
got stuck in black (supposed to be in blue,
which was full = traffic). See you 5/3, Ron!

sweet! that was an exciting watch. I want to go back to the streets in my S! I got to get better at car control though, the S is an oversteering beast!
very cool. damn good driving. the way your s2000 changes direction is just amazing. Was your VSA turned off in this run? well anywayz. A 2.2L vtec inline-4 is able to hang with one of the best cars (m3) in the world, to me that is a Proper Honda sports car. Ayrton Senna would be proud.

Thanks...AP1's (00-03 model S2000's) didn't have VSA (thank goodness). Definitely a proper Sports car and, after 147,000 mi, it's a keeper.

Thanks! Taming the oversteer is definitely a matter of track time. Speedventures is going back there 5/10-11, I think...maybe see you there! Mike

It was kind of dark out there so I actually turned on my headlights (which dimmed the dash display). When I realized the dash was "darker", I turned my headlights back on...

Yep, HTM is fun, albeit there's no runoff. However, elevation changes are spectacular. See you there!
