All the realms you can explore in Shujinko's Konquest Mode are cool.

Too Bad Taven's Konquest mode isn't like that.

As you know, you just go from place to place collecting relics (at least once) & beating the shit out of enemies. Once you defeat Blaze, you just repeat the entire Konquest Mode all over again (minus the relics you've already collected).

This song reminded me of a story I read in the old MK comics. In this story Shang Tsung posed as a baby found by King Jerod, Queen Sindel and Princess Kitana. They took care of him for one or two years, then, during the Outworld invasion of Edenia, Shang shows his true form (his outfit in MKII), and betrays those who inocently took care of him in the past.
