Abba - Hey, Hey Helen

Brilliant performance of this heavy rock style song from Nov 75 concert. Abba were never satisfied with just singing their songs. They frequently devised visually pleasing routines for specific songs. Colourful capes are added here that the girls swish around as they change direction together in time with the beat. You won't see anything remotely as good as this today. For my daughter Helen.

Yep this shows that Abba could master any style they wanted to Zareen, its as good a heavy rock number as any group could do. Plus the performance from the girls is dazzling, and much prettier than the glam-rock guys of the 70's! I wanted to do this one for my daughter Helen, I always give her a nudge when it comes on in the car! Yes it's got a great guitar led beat to it, which is quite unusual for Abba. The girls perfect harmonic singing makes it even better! This song is special to me, as my daughter is called Helen.

Congratulations for ABBA being inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. There are many detractors, saying ABBA was not rock and roll. This is definately a rock tune.
