Yes you can. I use the arrows a,w,s,d to drive this game and I've done it for two years now:P

Well, the easiest thing to do would be to google somthing like "download Project64 1,6" and "download F-Zero X rom". I think that was what I searched for. If it doesn't work, just send me a personal message ;)
