This year Radio 1 had it's yearly trip out to the white isle, this time taking over Ibiza's super club Space! Home to some of the most cool and credible music and DJ's on the planet, I thought I was going to have my work cut out for me, especially playing 6-7am closing set on the legendary terrace... To my surprise and delight, the harder I played, the harder the crowd went for it, leaving us having it away at 7am with sunlight pouring through the windows at 200bpm lol!!!

A point to be made: There has always been a stigma against harder styles of dance music in the mainstream, but I have recently played some of the most commercial events at massive scales, and have had amazing gigs without having to compromise the music I play!! The stigma is dying, welcome to the era of the HARDER STYLES :D :D :D
