I am an American and I peacefully and happily say that there is no reason for us to hate on the Germans ... its uncalled for at this point. It's a great country with great people IMO. I've got alot of respect for German people in general. They have a strong work ethic and are famous for their efficiency and organisation. I'm sure these attributes will be found in their special forces also. Also, if we use history as a pattern, they've always been good Militarily. I'm from the UK so i'm not biased.

@TristanDesnos I with you Tristan, I served in the us military for 23 years 4 in the USMC, almost 7 as an Army paratrooper. I could be biased but I'm not it is about giving due respect to fellow warriors. The British Special Forces are excellent just as the Germans are and ours here as well. I work for Siemens now and I can tellm you German engineering is very precise.

@grimdeatheater These are good points, but my point is that everyone is involved in Afghanistan/Iraq...it doesn't really distinguish them as SF post second war....but true - the KSK like all SF are worthy of great respect.

@Roddo08 sorry Roddo but the KSK is part of the ISAF and are apart of the Afghanistan mission now there isn't really much on saying who is the best cause every army is good in one or more traits i like SAS spetnaz, rangers and many more but i love the KSK more but there is no point in saying who is the best because there are alot of different special forces depending on others or working together, in general i love all special force because of there're techniques

The best??? Big claims...but based on what?? Post WWII the germans haven't done much...so how can this be...the German soldier is a very good soldier, but they haven't had anywhere enough hard experience in all theaters of war in the past 50 years...the British SF are the best..as they have consistently seen action since the end of the war and have been very successful in doing so. Sorry to say this, but its true.
