Surah 96: Al-'Alaq (The Blood Clot)

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful,

May the peace of Allah and His mercy and blessings be upon you.

This Surah was revealed in Makkah.

This is the first and only video of Surat Al-Alaq, recited by Sheikh Abdul Baset Abdul Samad.

The first few verses of this Surah was the first of the Qur'an sent down by Allah to mankind.

I always recite this just before any test in school. Allah talks about teaching, about how the Prophet (pbuh) was ordered to read and by allah's will, he was able to read. I recite it before each important test because I'm asking, that by god, he will grant me the intellect he granted the prophet. Salaam.

Allahs (swt) word are the really the TRUTH... fx look at verse 16, where Allah (swt) is describing the forehead as lying... i've heard that its that area is active when we try to lie... just to be sure i just did a research on that and found that it was true...
