Adam Connelly demonstrates the chromatic scale for the right hand of the clarinet in the chalumeau register (G to C).
This can also be played with the register key to play D to G in the upper register.

  • Thnx a lot on the F# part!

  • @WatchBackYo you're welcome. It makes the job of playing the clarinet easier.

  • Do you have any videos explaining how to play using the register key? If not, would you be willing to make one? I am really struggling with playing above Bb because no one ever taught me the techniques. All I usually succeed in doing is squeaking horribly. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, nor how to correct myself. The other YouTube videos are not helpful. Judging by the number of videos you've posted on how to play instruments, I reckon you would know a thing or two. :-) Thanks!

  • @Fela07 sure I'll put one up soon. Sorry I didn't see this earlier. Ch

  • @Fela07 in short, don't change anything, just start with a low G and press the key. It'll turn into a D up high. You should make sure the clarinet is on an angle of about 45 degrees to the ground/your body. That's critical. If the instrument is down near your knees as you sit then the angle is too small.

  • @adamconnellymusic Thank you for the tips. I did sort of accomplish using the register key, but it's still a challenge. I'll keep practicing, and remember to check my angles.

  • i have a video for beginners on my channel please look this is not spam

  • The "cromatic B flat fingering" is unnecessary and slows u down....

  • hi can you put any more stuff up with the clarinet? i like how you taught on this one..
