I have released my 3rd CD called "AIR".
I play music by: Dowland, Galilei, Weiss, Bach, Handel, Albinoni and Pachelbel. All, popular classical pieces that I have been asked to record on a CD.
You can order it from my website http://per-olovkindgren.com/ipnmonitor and soon also listen to sound samples there.

I thought you needed something different than my 'Love Songs' this time. :-) Well, this is made with love too! For J. S. Bach.
This Prelude has two parts: Passagio - Presto. I play the Passagio very different from the "usual" way of playing it. I think Bach wanted it to be more like an improvisation. (knowing he was mostly know in his time for his improvisations!! Can you imagine what we missed)!? Anyway... I play it very free but in the Presto part I am just as 'strict' as Bach probably wanted it to be. I have to ask him when I meet him after life. :-) The Presto (Italian: Fast) is also a Fugue; the same theme is introduced little by little in different voices. (Kind of complicated).
As Oscar Wilde once said: A Fugue is a piece of music where the voices enter one after the other... and the audience leave, one after the other. :)
I hope you are still there after this ended.

Hugs to all from,
Per-Olov

  • Greetings, Peo!

Marvelous perfomance, as always! Could you make an recording of the 996 Gigue?

    Your brazilian fan,

    Ticlano

  • Thank you Ticlano,

I am happy you like this. i will do a recording of the Gigue soon.

    All the best,

    Per-Olov

  • what brand and model is your guitar?! Your fingers seemed to snake over the frets with such ease, I want to be able to play like that without killing my fingers on a guitar with poor action. Thanks!

  • Thank you. I play a Philippe Jean-Mairet from Swittserland. Please go to my web site for more info and pictures of it.

  • Just beautiful, a joy to listen to.

  • I have Erling Møldrups cd with all his Bach interpretations.. this is one of my favorite pieces.. Very nicely done, like your other videos.

  • I've seen dozens of your videos and for a while I was convinced you couldn't play faster and more difficult pieces. I stand corrected: this was as clean and musical as your BWV1007 Prelude and looked just as effortless. Bravo!

  • Excellent musical intuition!

  • @GeminiSpartanX u need to get ur guitar set up lol. U dont need a new guitar.

  • wonderful playing as always....but do you really drive a ford focus?....
