Very cool!! I used to eat at Johnnie's Broiler all the time when I lived in Downey & was floored when it was sold to the used car dealer. I just found out today through a friend that it's a Bob's & it just looks great. Very monumental.

I am so happy they are rebuilding this place. I'm only 31, but I and can't wait to take my kids here. It will be a experience for them!

They fucked up! Whats the point it's not the original so why the fuck would anyone want to go to the new one? Might as well go to any other burger stand in downey.... They should have never took that shit down I had some good memories of that place...

It is really amazing! I went the first week and there were a lot of people, but their service is pretty fast. I only waited for about 10 mins and it was during lunch time.
