If you have stretch marks, your screwed. That's the short summary of this video. No magic cream or lotion sold by a toothless gypsy will help. Sorry guys to burst your bubble but I'm in the same boat as you.

Stretch marks occur when the skin has to expand too fast, be it gaining fat or muscle. In my case when I was 18, I gained 80 pounds of weight in 8 months and got major stretch marks. After a lot of research, personal experimentation and client experience, I can safely say that there is no cream or pill to take to reduce your stretch marks. The best solution? TNT. Time and a tan. Stretch marks WILL fade away more with time, as the skin returns to its normal elasticity. My stretch marks are less than 50% of the size they were before. A tan helps covers the inconsistencies.

Its something that comes with the territory of training so don't be put off, and not everyone will experience stretch marks, don't be scared. Just the next time a toothless bearded hag approaches you, give a roundhouse kick to the face and tell her Chef Buff sent you.

  • I love you, seriously ur such an inspiration and i am in awe of ur advises and omg ur sense of humor mind blasting! :)

  • @black3sss You just gave me a big slice of humble pie

  • Omar, I'm still at the stage where i feel like it's my nervous system that limits me on many lifts, rather than my actual muscles, but i can't find a decent answer for how to improve it. Help a brother out?

  • @tagert24 The nervous system is best activated always by doing lighter activation sets for maximum speed to warm up the nervous system. Also, linear loading/too heavy of a weight will definitely drain the CNS. My advice is to do wave loading, and select a weight you DOMINATE. Hit me up on Facebook and check out my beginner program if you need more help :)

  • dude u are too pretty :S xD

  • i have stretch marks on both sides of my lower shouldersi think they appeared after an intense shoulders workout and im 16 not to big but buff for my age , i think the way i did the exercice damaged my skin ?

  • when I was about fourteen and hit my growth spurt I was really skinny and shot up to 6 feet. I got crazy stretch marks on my mid/lower back, really long red very noticeable, they even appeared on my sides by my ribs. Then when i started lifting (I was seventeen) i got marks on my triceps and the back and front of my shoulders. But in the last couple years i've noticed a great reduction in the visibility and size of the marks. There all white and in the sumer there even harder to see.

  • Rub coco butter before you workout or baby oil so that it can help your skin from preventing them kinda.

  • @My666metal DO NOT stop training believe me! It took quiet a while I would say approx 4-6 months! However I just kept rubbing coco butter cream on it and it really helped with appearance. This does not get rid of them however it considerably helped with the appearance.

  • @kirtanmistry I'm of English descent so I'm white and my stretch marks turn purple, i'm also at your point now I am really considering giving it away . How long did they take to go away?

  • glad i found this video, i always wanted to find a way to reduce them.. first one i noticed was when i was 14 on my chest near my armpit.. to this day its horriiible.. i have them in various places.. i got told it was a broken vain at first... HAHA..off to spain i go :D

  • Ive had stretch marks for about 3 years now get um in the same place that you do and some on my back I put on about 15-20 pounds of muscle in a 6 month span and my body grows quite rapidly but it was not until i stopped working out did i notice the strech marks forming... maybe it was do to the expansion and contraction of the skin? idk but in any case the visibility has reduced significantly just wish I could get rid of these suckers

  • @razgmk

do you think my now white stretch marks will fade more in 5 months
