An interview with Wong Kar Wai and talks about the story of Chungking Express. It includes those deleted scence from Brigitte Lin.

Brigitte Lin here expressed very well the sad feeling of an ex-superstar. When she looked into the mirror while she's singing, she found herself is getting old and no longer a superstar. This scene impressed me a lot. Too bad Wong Kar Wai has changed the whole storyline in the final version and deleted this classic scene.

In the movie, i always thought the first story was rather bland and uninteresting compared to the second story... I would have loved to see this ex-superstar story instead! so much more interesting + can see the beautiful briggitte lin without the wig and shades. Why, wong kar wai, why did you change it???
