Steph and Radar practice some DRESSAGE :D (9-1-09)

Today Steph and Radar worked on some dressage! We've always thought dressage would be something fun to try with Radar and that he would enjoy it :D Now that radar has been behaving so well at our new barn Steph is finally getting to work on it! Today was the second day(yesterday was the first!) that the pair worked on learning the Training Level 1 test :) As you can see they have not worked through the complete test yet - they are slowly adding each element in until they have memorized and are comfortable with each element. In this video they have gotten through most of the test and probably have 3 or 4 steps left until the end of the test. Please no criticism! This is steph's first time even thinking about riding in dressage and I think both are doing pretty well for only their second day! The first clip is them working through about 3/4 of the test, then some pics, and then finally a short clip of some canter work :D Enjoy!

How nice is she going to consier picking it up more seriously. If she is though it would be wise not to practise a test several times in a row though. Leave a few days between every pactise session just a thought anyways its great to see she is becomming more confident on him.

yeah she did it for a few minutes the first day, then a few times the second day, then quite a few days passed before they revisited it again :) thanks for your input though :D yeah her confidence on him is great. they're doing super well together!
