  • Stood next to one of these at RNAS Yeovilton; if you're ever in England I truly recommend it, you can go right up to the aircraft, where as in some museums you can't get within even an arms distance.

  • @RRAvon

Thanks just got back from UK and went to RAF Hendon Museum but didnt make it to Yeo

  • @dbarl64 I haven't been to Hendon; Cosford is supposed to be a good museum too. I been to RAF Cosford, but not the museum. Duxford is great as well, both times I've been there's always been either a Hurricane or Spitfire in flight.

  • @RRAvon great be good to see TSR2 in the real'

Did go to Biggin airshow they had Spits and Hurri in 2009 perform The vulcan didnt make it on that day tho

  • @dbarl64 I've never been to Biggin Hill, but I've been to a few other airshows in my time. I've seen the Vulcan twice as it is, but you can never see it enough times to say you wouldn't mind not seeing it again.

The TSR2 is pretty impressive, it's a lot larger than the pictures make out -- which is usually the case with any aircraft. The tyres amaze me at how shredded they are after one landing. The tyre bill must have been sky high.

  • Beautiful aircraft would of loved to of been there to see them.
