im 19 and i have an appointment with a lap band sugeon tomorrow (dr. richard collier in conroe, tx). i have done a ton of research and i know its for me. i am currently 280lbs. i am worried i am going to be one of the people that cant handle it but i am willing to give up my love of eating for a healthy life. and maybe i wont be such a shut in when im thinner. :P i want to put on a pair of jeans and feel good about myself. is that so bad? lol

I'm so happy for you! I just got my approval from my insurance last week, & I too cried!!! I'm very happy for all of us ....I can't wait my date is Dec 3rd! Keep up with the great progress!!!!
