You can find severall emulations of C64 (and perhaps also for Atari - this I dont know) for PC on the internet. I have downloaded one and with it you can play many games again :)

Fuck if it's boring -- it was also slightly boring and confusing to me back when I played it at age 7, not knowing what the object of the game was, and lacking certain education to understand -- but it was still a video game, and since the NES, and the SNES, and the Genesis I pined for was not granted to me, I was enthralled by it for hours in evening. I did enjoy watching the animations, and game effects. Catching a Wampa was the biggest thrill of the game to me then.

It's too bad the video doesn't illustrate an active auction. One of the most fun - and maddening - aspects of the game is having the sellers come down toward the buyers, then go back up and make big bucks when there's great demand. It's really fun when all the game subtleties come into play!

@tupelog: I completely agree, it was the best game with all the dependencies, especially in the "expert mode", when Store runs out of stock - and searching for the "mountain swampus" And so much hidden jokes as landing on planet "Itara" (Backward of Atari) ;-))

This is the best game I have ever played. I no longer have a c64, but would pay good money to have a copy that runs the original game on windows-based pc.

Yeah it is, after relearning the rules I could sit down with 4 people right now and have a good time playing it. Its like a classic board game, never ages.
