Con la llegada del verano austral, el hielo en los picos de Los Andes se derrite y alimenta los ríos de América del Sur. With the arrival of summer, ice in the Los Andes mountains melts and feeds the rivers of South America.

Scientists all over the world warn that higher temperatures are melting the ice on the mountains and on the poles at rates and levels beyond critical and way over the natural process of warming and cooling global ecosystems have adapted to for thousands of years. Dramatic changes are expected in a very short period and will accelerate quickly within the next few years in a crisis that has already started and is happening now.
