I was a veterinary surgeon in the British Army posted to Bengahzi in 1956 and visited many of the places in this video. My time in Cyrenaica was most valuable to me -and my wife - and we enjoyed the friendship of some wonderful Libyans for some 18 months.
If any of my Libyan friends read this I would be delighted to hear from them again.

I don't .I was there last year and loved it so much I lead a group of 20 this year and hope to go again. I visited the Greek and Roman sites.

In my opinion, Libya is one of the most interesting and exciting coutry in the world. It is so pitty that a lot of western people have prejudices against visiting Libya.
