The IBOutlet and IBAction directives in code are not needed here.

They are clues to Interface Builder if it parses your source files (as it does in Objective-C or MacRuby). But in Cappuccino, you need to manually enter actions and outlets in the nib (as you showed).

So everything will work fine without mentioning IBAction and IBOutlet in the Objective-J source code files.
