Loch Lomond

Traditional Scottish tune. This is part four (and the last part) of our "outlaw" series, and one of the 'leftovers' we shot for the project.

The song:

As I understand it, it concerns two Scottish prisoners far from home. The man singing is scheduled to be executed while the man he is singing to is due to be released and sent home. The man singing mourns that even though his spirit will travel home by way of the underworld (the 'low' road); which is faster than how his compatriot will travel, he will never see his true love again.

I hope you enjoy my VERY humble rendition.
