it's the 3rd sonata, but maybe you have seen it as the 5th piece in the usual edition of the Bach's Sonatas&Partitas, but, in fact, there are 3 sonatas and 3 partitas, published alternating one sonata and one partita.

Leider oft unterschätzt - kaum zu übertreffen! Technisch souverän wie kaum ein anderer, von Bach bis Sibelius, von einer unvergleichlichen Eleganz u. Sinnlichkeit im Ton, vielleicht mit der größte Geiger der 2. Hälfte des 20. Jh...Friede Deiner Seele! Und eines noch: DANKE !!

Good song! You never now how much a genus he is until you actually play his pieces. One this is this is the 5 sonata not the 3
