  • ithink if a monkey figured out that he was a monkey, and that the reason why his life is shitty is because of the way he looked at life. the angle he was coming from was too dominant. say a monkey did that, we would be like HOLY SHIT THAT MONKEY IS EVOLVING. thats what terence is doing for the human race

  • 1 person couldn't understand all the "two dollar words"

  • Good post---McKenna is a truly fresh mind. This makes me think again that the Minoans of ancient Crete actually lasted longer, more richly, and more peacefully than ANY other later Western culture period because of their apparent lack of interest in the ego---whose ultimate form in later sick cultures is the "king," and which Crete also distinctly "lacked." We need to re-understand the Minoans' sense of being and civilization---and you can with "Calendar House" at ANCIENT LIGHTS dot o-r-g

  • The part about going from Dominator Monkeys, to Psilocybin-Enhanced Conscious Beings, back to Dominator Monkeys... reminds me of the ideas suggested in Left in the Dark by Tony Wright. I definitely recommend checking that book out.

  • this is fantastic, the synergy between lsd spaceships and computers has created some absurd outcomes. the world is only getting abhorrently stranger and creating more parenthetical diversions of reality as it goes on. we have created a society we simply won't be able to control on a large scale anymore.

  • Good call, thanks for that jump ahead.

  • 4:49 starts the ego discussion, I think... I wasn't paying attention until then at least

  • interesting view
