@Jacaranda987 install the game and patch it all the way to 4.09. then go to folder where u have 4.08 patch. there u will find these 2 files: mg_snd_sse.dll and mg_snd.dll . copy both of them and paste em to folder where u installed and patched game. click "yes to all" when u r asked to replace files. then these 2 files from 4.08 patch will replace same 2 files from 4.09 patch who make problems from some reason, and u will be able to play. this helped to me and i hope it will help you.

@F14Lolcat There were a few graphical improvements in this such as the Slovakia maps. Is there a juddering when flying over towns in these maps? What is your graphic card? Have you messed around with the conf.ini file?

Hi i have il-2 1946 patched to 4.09. The game starts normally but when i start to fly the game lags so much that i cant play it!
So could anyone help me?

hey guys i have il2 Sturmovik 1946 and im installing v4.08 and it works fine but when i install v4.09m the game wont start i have no mods on it so im confused help would be appreciated

Early war stuff, especially bombers, is much more needed than yet another uber late war super boosted fighter that doesnt really add anything to the overall gameplay, thats why I'm very much looking forward to the night fighter Bf110G4 with working radar!
Those people who demand "insert favourite late war super fighter here" are usually the same ones who just suck in any kind of plane and need to make up for a lack of flying skill by having the most performant plane of all
