@nakyer Police are essentially immune from criminal charges. A citizen can not press criminal charges against a government agent and can only file a complaint, in which the City/State would have to choose to press charges against their own agent which is extremely rare. Usually your only recourse is filing a civil lawsuit and ask for monetary damages as a result of the assault and kidnapping. Which she did and won 78K.

@1775novten Hasn't anyone heard of "assault and battery" and "felony kidnapping"? Last I heard, police aren't immune to those charges...or to being convicted of them.

police unions should exist to protect good cops.... not bad cops..... if a police union truly cares about the profession then they suhould want to remove criminals, deviants, and psychos from the police force

@1775novten sadly, those money came from the taxpayers, not the cops.

I smell an epic rap battles of history
She was awarded $78,000 for this unlawful arrest. These dangerous cops are only costing us our tax dollars to pay for their mistakes. They are never individually held accountable.

No no...here's what will happen. He will end up one day having to go to that hospital. The RN will remmember him, and give him the worse fucking nurseing student she can find to take his blood. After thirty failed attempts at getting blood, then the RN is going to come in and take his blood using the biggest fucking gauge needle she can find....and make sure to wiggle that bastard around before "finding" the vein. How do I know this? Well, let's just say experience hehe.
