@Vishms06 . You can have several signals of different frequencies travel through a line at the same exact time. They will look like one signal; however, the signal can be expressed as an infinite series of other signals with different frequencies, in this case, the signals being transmitted (read some Fourier Transform basics. In a nut shell, several frequencies, are able to be in a line at the same time.
Yes, it is possible to use FDM for frqueny modulated signal, example FM radio.

Hi I have a doubt. I'm studying FDM since long but i'm still not able to catch the core of it. according to me different signals of different frequency are sent on single channel with guard band. These are having logical individual channels but in reality only one signal is able to pass through the channel at any time. so I feel like it is nothing but time division.
Also, is it possible to user FDM for frequency modulated signal?
