@HaNsWiDjAjA Shashka is not sword, its more like a long knife. The idea of it is to make the handle as light as possible and cutting edge as heavy as possible, somewhat similar to machete. As result you get powerful swing with lesser total mass of the weapon. You cant parry with it as with swords, its mostly offensive weapon where you just have to swing faster than enemy to win.

@HaNsWiDjAjA Real shashkas weight just over 1 pound. They are much lighter than traditional sabre but have different balance.
