Not very good. The tang is screwed on and it gets loose over time.

@Damienx247 im guessing they want to talk about the traditional forged swords vs. modern day swords. and compare the authenticity. i really want to see that part cause i been wanting to buy the cold steel's jade lion sword but i dont know the feel of it and how it functions comparing to a traditional chinese jian. the thing with cold steel is that they try to make replicas of various background as authentic as possible. i wanna see what chinese swordsmith think about cold steel's version!!!

@sixyears Or, it is because they used to order their Chinese weapons from Hanwei, I don't know who their current supplier is though.

@Damienx247 I think it because cold steel go to great lengths to try to recreate ancient weapons with modern techniques. I could be wrong but they do make excellent blades and they do their research.
